The 2009 Grammy Awards show was quite entertaining, and it’s been a minute since this sista could say she enjoyed almost an entire awards show.

Like most of y’all – I tuned in to to see the the three well-dressed men above ( and Kanye West) perform “Swagga Like Us”. Four rappers onstage, and no draws showing. Impressive.

I think Jay-Z said it best in T.I.’s “Swagger Like Us”: “know the n*ggas looking thorough when the girls say ‘YES’ .” Now, isn’t that what swagger is REALLY about – brother walks into a room, and all heads turn in a GOOD way?

Well, rapper Jim Jones thinks Tip has no swagger. Here’s what he had to say about T.I. to COMPLEX Magazine:

Complex: What about T.I?

Jim Jones: I don’t feel like he possesses any swag. Not like that. It’s fabricated. They’re watching other people, then they try and do it. You know people that dress like T.I.? You know people that go out and say let me get a T.I. outfit or do you know people who say “yo, you’re looking like Jim Jones?” Which one? Lemme hear it! When the bitches want to fuck you and the niggas want be like you, who got the swag? Niggas with money and fame always going to look like they doing something ’cause they got the camera in front of them. But the cool dudes always stick out no matter where they at.

Word on the net is that Jim Jones is just pissed at being left off of “Swagger Like Us”, and is working on his own track – entitled “Jackin’ Swagger From Us”,OR Swagger-Jackin’ From Us”, which will feature Lil’ Wayne, and  Juelz. Interesting, considering Lil’ Wayne spit – IMO – the weakest verse on “Swagger Like Us”. Read the full interview at Complex.
