Seal covers Otis Redding
For those old enough to remember, Seal’s cover of Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long” is a welcome reminder of the sweet Soul music you used to listen to on the transistor radio. Props to SoulBounce for the video.

Video - Yung Berg “Put It On Me”
The Time: a LONG time ago. The Place: a beauty salon on the Avenue of Fashion, where I used to do hair. The Setting: Three days before Christmas. The Situation: some random guy tried to snatch my MCM logo clutch, and when I snatched it back he socked me in the jaw, knocked me on the floor, and stole my purse anyway. The joke was on him - the bag was fake, and there was only 80 cents in it! My cash, ID, and credit cards were all in my jeans pocket. *Whew! That damn MCM logo shirt YB’s wearing is making me have flashbacks*
Now, about the song/video: I really try not to talk bad about folk, but Huey\Dewey\Louie *you decide. i can’t* needs to stop rapping about things he has no knowledge of - given his jr. high school student status, and all. His mama needs to wash his mouth out with some Ivory soap. Actually - the song’s not bad. It’s just that Yung Berg is such a lil’ punk…

King back…
T.I.’s “Paper Trail” is #1 on the Billboard 200, having sold 568,000 copies in first-week (U.S.) sales - making “Paper Trail” Tip’s third album (King, and T.I. vs.T.I.P. are the other two) to reach the top spot. If that’s not enough - Tip broke his own record when “Live Your Life” ft. Rihanna jumped from #80 to #1 on the Hot 100 chart. It’s been a very good week for the King…
Congratulations, King! Keep laughin’ at the haters. Oh, and pics from Tip’s CD signing in Detroit after the jump…
