…and I’m PROUD! 

 Been reading  natural hair blogs for months – looking at pictures of natural hair doing things I never saw natural hair do back in the day, and dreaming about my natural  hair. So, 4 months post-relaxer, 3 months of press ‘n’curl, and after about 1 month of twisting my mostly relaxed hair, and cutting of of 4 inches in the last two weeks – I finally cut.it.all.off.  Don’t know what I was waiting for – my little bitty curls feel so damn  good!

Eva “The Diva” Marcille is the perfect combination of tomboy and girly. I absolutely LOVE this chick! And if not for the “girls” – this dress would be all mines…

FAME’s Naturi Naughton is red carpet perfect in this gorgeous dress. I loved her turn in the Biggie pic “Notorius” – she almost made me like Li’l Kim. Almost.

And Miss Ashanti is looking lovely at NY’s Empire State Building. Her hair, makeup, and shoes are gorgeous, but…that PINK DRESS! I love it. I won’t lie.

And speaking of Ashanti – don’t argue with the haters – just sing “Over The Rainbow”, and show them how wrong they are. Do you, Babygirl.

Halle’s back, and rocking that short crop I love so much.

Never really been a fan of the long-haired Halle – my girlfriends and I always said her long-haired look lacked personality, made her look just like every other long-haired celeb.

Rihanna was spotted in New York rocking this new ‘do, which is a nice look for her, since I love hair that’s on the edge.  But let’s be honest – we know RiRi ‘borrowed’ Woody’s swag…

Cassie’s a beautiful girl, and could rock almost any hairstyle – including this one. Not sure why Cassie shaved her head, but I love the hair AND the attitude.

Funny thing about hair – it grows back.

Man, the hairstylist in me is absolutely lovin’ Miss Monica’s ‘do!  I have never been an ‘every-hair-in-place’ girl – I’ve always liked (and done) hairstyles that looked just as good when you woke up in the A.M. as it did when you went to bed last night. Nothing more required than a little finger styling in the morning.

Monica’s style is perfectly coiffed – as always, but I can see her going to sleep on that ‘do, waking up. running her fingers though the top, and out the door.  Her makeup is perfect, too. Monica’s has grown into a beautiful woman.

Oh, and I do see the cuteness throwin’ up the deuce…
