Beyonce covers the German edition of  GQ Magazine.

Ask, and you shall receive! Just yesterday I said I’d like to see Beyonce’s real personality, and then she pops up on Oprah being her own damn fabulous self. Gotta give Beyonce her props on this one - she’s really having fun. Girlfriend even admits to bringing Sasha Fierce home to Jay Z every now and then. I still don’t think Sasha is all that, but Miss Beyonce is kinda fierce…

Sorry, y’all - I just don’t think Sasha (or Beyonce) is all that damn fierce. Maybe it’s just me, but fierce implies an attitude or look that will make people take notice. Sasha Fierce ain’t it.

Like her alter ego Beyonce, Sasha Fierce has no personality or individuality. Say what you will about Solange - she IS an individual. The music. The outfits. The interviews. The shoe game - all vicious. Beyonce is pretty - gorgeous, really. And very talented. But there’s nothing personal about her image. It all seems manufactured. Kinda Diana Ross 2k.

While the alter ego thing may be real- (I kinda like the whole T.I. vs T.I.P. thing, but not so much Tyrese\Black Ty) - I’m just not getting the sense that Sasha is Beyonce’s other side. I’d very much like to see just a little bit of Bey’s REAL personality.

And so do Beyonce’s shoes! I’m not a big fan of Beyonce’s music, but I do love this casual look she’s been rocking lately. From the snood, all the way to the shoes - Beyonce looks good!

Y’all know I’m mad. The male anchors refers to Beyonce as “the famous familiy member”, and referred to Solange as “Beyonce’s little sister” - you know that pissed Solange off. He then says she’s promoting her album called “Nobody Cares”, and tells her to “stop gravy-training off your sister”. Not cool at all…

Solo responds to the Fox News controversy - saying the producer told the anchorwoman (not realizing Solo could hear him) “in a very negative tone” - make sure you ask her about Jay Z’s club closing. This after being told the interview would be about her new record. So she felt disrespected, and stood up for herself - and I ain’t mad at her. I thought she handled the interview very well - all things considered.

…I don’t think Solange “went off” on Fox5 Vegas news reporter Monica  Jackson in this video interview. Y’all know I love me some Solange, but I still think I can be impartial. Solange called Monica’s introduction “unprofessional”, and asked the reporter not to link her to Jay Z’s establishment - not realizing the comments she’d heard weren’t live. Monica Jackson used to be an anchorwoman in Detroit - and she can be unprofessional. Ain’t no telling what she said that we didn’t hear. Based on what Sol knew to be true - I thought she handled herself very well.

I know I’m late with this one, y’all - I’ve been just a little busy, and stuff. But since we love Solange, we’ll take that late pass.

The video is cute - I like the imagery. Like the song - I swear Solange’s music reminds me of some old Supremes stuff - even though last time I said it,  it was insinuated that I didn’t know my music history. But all is good - I still think I’m right. It’s not the Diana Ross & the Supremes - era stuff. It’s music The Supremes actually sang on.
