Dr. Jennifer Walden, Newly Elected Secretary To ASAPS Board Of Directors

In April 2018, Dr. Jennifer Walden was elected as secretary of the ASAPS board of directors. This election makes her the first female to serve on this board in a leadership role. She also currently serves as the Commissioner of Communications for ASAPS which involves oversight of all communications activities for The Aesthetic Society.

Dr. Jennifer Walden is recognized nationwide for her cosmetic surgery expertise, as well as the fact that she is one of the very few female physicians who have formal training in plastic surgery. She is based out of Austin but completed her fellowship at the famous Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York City. She is the founder of the Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center, and as such, she is skilled in procedures such as rhinoplasty, pigment and hair removal, breast augmentation, and much more.

Dr. Jennifer Walden’s practice offers services that are done with industry leading, state of the art equipment that offers its patients the unique ability to visualize their appearance with 3D imaging technology.

Dr. Jennifer Walden’s society memberships include; The Aesthetic Society as well as the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and she is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, she has been named a Texas Super Doctors, and in both 2016 and 2017 was named one of Castle Connely’s Top Doctors. She was also chosen as one of the best beauty surgeons in America Harper’s Bazaar magazine in 2014. Other noteworthy honors include a membership in the American Association of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Jennifer Walden is also an important opinion leader for several large aesthetic companies such as Cynosure, SmartGraft, Thermi Aesthetics, Lumenis and Sciton, Inc. Dr. Jennifer Walden is also dedicated to several philanthropic engagements, including her membership in the Guardian Angel Society, her contributions to cancer research and more.
