Ted Bauman started his journey back in the early nineties in college. He started by studying Economics and History at the University of Cape Town, but did not receive a degree. Instead Ted moved back to the United States from South Africa and attended The State University of New York and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1993. Georgia State University was Ted Bauman’s next stop in his educational pursuits and got a Master of Business Administration in Finance in 2001.
Each work day starts off with sending his daughter off to school and getting straight to work. He has no commute since his office is right in his basement. He works consistently the whole day till about five o’clock. It doesn’t matter what time he starts work, Ted ends it at dinner time. He finds that he is most productive and awake in the morning so he strives to use that time wisely. Ted Bauman is a writer who specializes in a number of financial subjects including low-risk investment strategies, privacy, asset protection, and international migration issues. The Atlanta, Georgia resident uses his real life experiences, narrative and writing skills to make some of these topics more informative and interesting. Ted Bauman’s worst jobs were at minimum wage jobs at gas stations, McDonald’s, and Burger King. It was a huge learning lesson for him in multiple ways. First off, it is incredibly hard to work so hard, get paid so little, and have to deal with manager or supervisors who don’t treat you so well. You have to do this all the while you are trying to pay the bills and make ends meet. Another important lesson Ted Bauman took from this was to better life for everyone we have to focus on everyone, including the people on the bottom and try to better their lives. Follow Ted on Medium.
