I was highly appalled by this particular billboard [on Washington St. in Newark, NJ] which consciously and subconsciously promotes the despicable notion that an entire people of the African Diaspora are nothing more than weak spirited, simple minded animals who are mastered and oppressed by deviant sexual vices.

I’ve lived in Brick City for 28 years, moved about and returned as of this past Fall 09 and I have to express that things have digressed quite a lot. I am here “divinely” to infuse the light of the Almighty and coerce a shift of progressive positivity so that we may rise beyond the tradition of our divinity and royalty.
