Former NBA great Dave Bing will be sworn in as Detroit’s new mayor today, which makes me pretty darned happy.  This time last year we were all caught up in the Kwame Kilpatrick mess, which makes Dave Bing look like the local Barack Obama to Detroit. What a difference a year makes!
