Aretha Frankin celebrated her 67th birthday  in downtown Detroit Saturday at Seldom Blues restaurant, complete with performances by Raheen DeVaughn, Kenny Lattimore, Secret Trois, and Obama – impersonator Iman Krossor of YouTube fame.

But the star of the party was the Inaugaural Hat cake, which was made by New York designer Sylvia Weinstock out of yellow cake with buttercream frosting and fresh raspberries. There were even miniature cakes replicas of the hat given to every guest.

Sounds like a party to me. Happy Birthday, Aretha!
