The Bad:

 The news that Chris Brown hit Rihanna in the face prior to the Grammys. Yes, the victim was Rihanna, according to The L.A. Times. There is NO EXCUSE for a man attacking a woman. NONE, and my heart goes out to Rihanna as I applaud her for pressing charges against Breezy. Physical abuse is not a game. *UPDATE* Doublemint has ‘suspended’ their ad campaign featuring Chris Brown, until this incident is resolved.

“Paper Trail” didn’t win the ‘Best Hip Hop Album’ award.

The Good:

I truly enjoyed Kid Rock’s medley – especially “Rock ‘n Roll Jesus”. The Kid has mad talent. Must be a Detroit thang.

Seeing Abdul ‘Duke’ Fakir of The Four Tops onstage after all these years. Duke looked really good, and he’s still got those Four Tops moves…

“Swagger Like Us” won for Best Collaboration. Yay, Tip!

Sugarland. Their perfomance of “Stay” absolutely blew me away. The raw emotion brought tears to my eyes. Seriously.
