The 2009 Grammy Awards show was quite entertaining, and it’s been a minute since this sista could say she enjoyed almost an entire awards show.

Like most of y’all – I tuned in to to see the the three well-dressed men above ( and Kanye West) perform “Swagga Like Us”. Four rappers onstage, and no draws showing. Impressive.

Queen Latifah introduced T.I, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West, and I was a little confused – I actually thought we were going to see a tribue to Dean Martin(!) – but the performance was hot. And I gotta give props to M.I.A. for coming to work on her due date (I went on maternity leave in my seventh month).

Kanye needs a haircut. Badly.

Jay-Z’s performance was definitely the smoothest of the four, and I’ll be damned if he wasn’t wearing that tux nicely. Lucky Bey.

Loved seeing Lil Wayne well-groomed. Definitely a welcome change from seeing his pants around his knees. Wayne was – dare I say it – kinda cute with his freshly styled locks.

I enjoyed Tip’s performance, but I did think he could have been just a little more smooth - seemed like he was trying to hard. But speaking of a man looking good in a tux – Tip KILLED it. He took that jacket off, we saw those pants perfectly fitting his little waist, and the sexometer went up wayyyy high. A good tailor is definitely a plus, gentlemen.  *fans self* 

And for all the Tip/Tiny haters – I challenge you to say something negative about Tiny in this pic.

From the hair, to the dress, down to the bag & shoes – Tiny definitely brought her style A-game. Even her cleavage game was proper. I’m sure Tip was darn proud to walk the red carpet with his girl THIS night.
