I usually reserve my judgment on songs I hear on the web until I get them on the iPod, and can really pump them up. Done. Done. Again – This bish is HOT!

It’s the perfect choice for the “official” first single from  the upcoming “Paper Trail” album, ’cuz it will appeal to a wider audience than “Here I Stand”, I think.  Like “Here I Stand”  – “Whatever You Like”  shows us a new side of Tip.

On the first ‘leaked’ song - ”Here I Stand” – we hear about how Tip made it through the fire by faith, and still manages to outshines all the haters.

On “Whatever You Like” – we hear Tip sing the entire song, and I do believe that’s a first – unless he’s done it before on a mixtape. He rides the Jim Jonsin-produced track very well, and he don’t sound bad at all. The lyrics kinda remind me of Babyface. It’s all “I’ll pay your rent, I’ll buy your clothes, I’ll cook your dinner, too…”, but on a whole different level. We know he doesn’t mean it, but…lil’ brotha can sing this song to me anytime.

Tip – I’m serious. Call a sister, okay?
